Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, a special district created over 30 years ago by Palm Beach County voters, provides leadership, funding, services and research on behalf of the county’s children so they are born healthy, safe from abuse and neglect, ready to learn when they enter school, and have access to quality afterschool and summer programming.
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
This position is responsible for processing and administering the payroll activities for CSC according to prescribed timelines. This position is responsible for management of time and attendance activities for the organization. This position assists in the performance of accounts payable, cash disbursements, cash receipts, general ledger, budget and fixed assets. This position is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the CFO and Finance Division staff. This position uses project management skills in managing and prioritizing work, to write and diagram processes, and to apply advanced knowledge and skills in various software programs.
High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) to four (4) years’ specialized training or education supplemented by four (4) to six (6) years of administrative and accounting/bookkeeping experience. Preference with experience using Microsoft Office software and MIP accounting software programs.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum requirements listed.
