Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, a special district created 30 years ago by Palm Beach County voters, provides leadership, funding, services and research on behalf of the county’s children so they are born healthy, safe from abuse and neglect, ready to learn when they enter school, and have access to quality afterschool and summer programming.
PROGRAM OFFICER (Program Performance)
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
The Program Officer with strong organizational and subject matter expertise is a leader who has critical and strategic thinking skills and guides the agency’s contract, planning, and system development work which is focused on achieving the CSC’s ambitious goals and child outcomes. Program Officer duties include: assessing and analyzing providers’ performance capacity (strengths and gaps) and contract performance, utilizing data to create reports to assess program performance for continuous improvement and evaluation of outcomes, managing internal and external reporting, holding providers, self, and team accountable for achieving contract and system outcomes, and helping to determine appropriate allocations to providers and investments needed to achieve child and family outcomes. The Program Officer builds collaborative working relationships and engagement among stakeholders and serves as a CSC ambassador. Program Officers are regularly called upon to research, analyze and synthesize information, identify critical issues, and develop strategic plans and execute action plans.
Bachelor’s Degree with Six (6) to nine (9) years of progressively increasing responsibility in managing substantial resources, people and or program and the ability to thrive in a continually changing environment.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum requirements listed.
